2010 brings in a year and new attitudes!

 Germany for us, my children, has strengthened us in many ways.  Daddy's trip for a year and living in an apartment has made our family more aware of how we are blessed. We have extended our Military Family. You both have started very important aspects of your lives and I am so proud of the progress you are making! 

I have noticed that people are changing, my children.  You have to stand firm in what you believe because people are going through things and don't seem to know what their soul is about. If you're not careful, you, too, can get lost in their confusion.  Christmas was a wonderful time with daddy having come home and the special moments we shared. LOTS of people showed their love and it is a great thing! Because we are believers in Christ, we have to hold dear to OUR traditions and not let anyone else get in the way of that. Many people with good intentions make you think twice about what you do and who you are. Remember to THINK about what they say and determine what is best for you according to what YOU THINK is best for you. Even those who love you will be critical. 

What I want you to know...

•  LOVE yourself most!

 Take care of your body, your soul and your mind. Wash well, eat great foods of many varieties and from many cultures, sleep long and read often! Remember to put your Bible by your bed and read it as if it is a letter from God to you; it is!

•  RESPECT your body for the beautiful machine it is!

Don't let others dictate what you will do with your body. Love it and cherish it. It is God's gift to you; make sure you take good care of it on the inside and outside.  NEVER let another human being do anything to your body that doesn't come with respect for you and for God!

•  THINK about things before you do them!

 Try to stay away from things that require an immediate response.  If you can, sleep over a major decision and make the final choice when you are calm and comfortable with what you decided. Ask yourself what are the long and short term consequences and benefits of your choices. How is this going to impact yourself and others?

• Have PURPOSE behind  your actions!

 If you are going to do something, make sure there is a valid reason for it. Don't do it because you are restless; do it because...

• Remember the INTENTION behind everything you do!

Every time you have your finger pointed at someone else, you have three aiming back at yourself.  If you mean well, it will succeed. If you have hatred or malicious intent in your heart when you do it, it's not of light and will not help others see what you are trying to do. It will cause darkness and close out hearts to your good will.

With these things in mind, life will be powerful and exciting! This new year is waiting to begin...and begin with you!
